On 27th April the European Parliament will debate a resolution that has been proposed by its ENVI (Health & Consumer Affairs) Committee, calling for a new EU Alcohol Strategy, including actions on price and labelling. This call has support from all parties in the ENVI Committee. The last EU Alcohol Strategy finished in 2012. Health advocates are urged to lobby their MEPs to ensure that they are there in the Parliament to vote to support this important measure.
